Data Deletion Instructions
In compliance with the Facebook Platform Policy, this page outlines how users can request the deletion of their data from InfNova.
Effective Date: September 1, 2025
At InfNova, we value your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you have connected your Facebook or Instagram account to our platform and wish to remove your data, you can do so by following the instructions below.
1. What Data Will Be Deleted
Upon processing your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:
- Account Identity: Your internal user ID, name, email address, and profile pictures.
- Social Tokens: All Facebook and Instagram Access Tokens and Long-lived Tokens.
- Performance Data: Any stored analytics, follower counts, and engagement metrics fetched from the API.
- Campaign History: Records of campaigns you have applied for or participated in (anonymized for business reporting where necessary).
2. Option A: Remove via Facebook Settings
You can revoke InfNova's access to your data directly through Facebook. This triggers an automated data deletion request to our system.
- Go to your Facebook Account's Settings & Privacy.
- Click on Settings.
- Scroll down to look for Apps and Websites.
- Find InfNova in the list of active apps.
- Click the Remove button.
- Ensure the checkbox for "Delete posts, videos or events InfNova posted on your timeline" is selected (if applicable) and click Remove again.
3. Option B: Manual Deletion Request
If you cannot access your Facebook settings or prefer a direct confirmation, you may submit a manual request via email.
Send an email to our Data Protection Officer with the following details:
- To: business.infnova@gmail.com
- Subject: Data Deletion Request - [Your Name]
- Body: "Please delete my InfNova account and all associated Facebook/Instagram data."
4. Processing Timeline & Confirmation
- Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your email request within 48 hours.
- Processing: Data deletion is typically completed within 7 to 14 days of the request.
- Confirmation: You will receive a final confirmation email containing a unique Data Deletion Request ID once your information has been purged from our active databases.
5. Data Retention for Legal Purposes
Please note that we may retain certain data if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or financial record-keeping). In such cases, data will be isolated and not used for any other purpose.
